Lessons from USWDS

Context

We are in the process of adapting the USWDS design system and are learning a lot about how to use it. These lessons are scattered over PRs right now, so it will be great to have one place to gather our learnings. Since it is an ongoing process, I suggest having one running placeholder issue (which is this!) to detail what we learned and properly document it as a dev doc later.

Acceptance Criteria

• Given when the issue has enough contents to convert it into the dev doc. (It is a bit vague criteria, but I cannot think of a rigid criteria now.)

• DatePicker 1: E&A Date Picker (Part One) - Integration and usage within the E&A Timeline header  #1044 (It is not merged, but it has a good log of conversations about how it was difficult to use DatePicker component)
• DatePicker 2: E&A Date Picker (Part Two) - react-calendar with USWDS tokens  #1048 (This PR has a change that sets up the base font configuration from the instance's theme)
