Description

This issue is tracking the items that are necessary/desired to be included in the framework prior to the upcoming CCPP version 7 stand-alone release.

MPI cleanup
- Add support to use mpi_f08 MPI module #523
Chunked data arrays
- ccpp_prebuild.py: add support for chunked arrays #519

Other CCPP developers should fill in additional items as they see fit.
