This Milestone has no version number, yet because we don't know when the issues are due. We can use it to collect to-do items we stumble upon.

• Remove oss version related code and tests. Keep elastic_variant in case we want to support others as well in the future
• Remove 7 related code, whens and tests
• Remove jea_workaround because it only works with version 7
• Search for every pinned molecule test with elastic_release: 7, make them work with current releases and remove the pin
