Production use of NVIDIA DRA resource driver #131
Comments
As the sig-node documents mentioned, the DRA seems to still a long long way to actual production. GA will not be soon |
We plan to release a production version of this driver to coincide with the beta release of DRA, which is currently planned for 1.32 (i.e. December 2024). As part of this, I plan to have an updated version of this driver which can run against the new DRA APIs introduced in Kubernetes 1.31 on within the next few weeks. The implementation will be similar to what I've done here: https://github.com/kubernetes-sigs/dra-example-driver |
Closing as I belive the question has been answered. Please reopen if you disagree or would like to discuss further. |
The current Readme of NVIDIA DRA resource driver states the following:
If you have a plan to improve it so that it can be used in production environments, please let me know the timing.
(For example, the same time as the K8s DRA itself becomes GA, etc.)
Also, if NVIDIA officially supports the NVIDIA DRA resource driver, will it be published in the catalog below?
