How to run TypeORM migration on deployment with GitlabCI?

I created a script file with name start.sh and use it in Dockerfile like this:

...
COPY --from=builder start.sh /start.sh
RUN chmod +x /start.sh
ENTRYPOINT ["sh", "/start.sh"]

And script to run migration and start app in start.sh:

#!/bin/bash

yarn typeorm migration:run
yarn start:prod

After successful deployment, I get the error message:

app            | $ ts-node node_modules/typeorm/cli.js -f ormconfig migration:run
app            | /bin/sh: ts-node: not found
app            | error Command failed with exit code 127.

app            | $ node dist/main.js

@vyvian1712 Hey, Just small tip which I think will help you.

You can build production app and run it without carrying about migrations, they are going to run automatically doing application start.

But normally I think it should be put in a stage in gitlab-ci.yml, if there is an error the application is not deployed to the production.
And i tried like this:

check-migration:
  stage: test
  services:
    - postgres:14:2
  image: node:16.10-alpine
  script:
    - yarn global add ts-node
    - yarn typeorm migration:run
    - migration_result=$(yarn schema:log)
    - |
      matching_migration_is_up_date=`echo $migration_result | grep 'Your schema is up to date - there are no queries to be executed by schema syncronization.'`
      if [ ! -z "$matching_migration_is_up_date" ]; then
        echo "Entities are sync with DB"
        exit 0
      else
        echo "Missing some migrations"
        exit 1
      fi

But getting an error:

$ ts-node node_modules/typeorm/cli.js -f ormconfig migration:run
node:internal/modules/cjs/loader:936
  throw err;
  ^
Error: Cannot find module './cli.js'

I don't know what to do :(

have you upgraded to latests version of boilerplate?
