git status: Finds status of local master branch in relation to the cloud as well as any changes to commit.

git add <filename> :adds named files to be committed to local master branch.

git add -u :adds untracked files to be committed to local master branch.

git add * :adds ALL files to be committed to local master branch.

git commit: commits changes to local master branch.

git commit --m "msg": commit with message

git rm <filename>: removes file from current branch.

git push <origin> <branch>: pushes local changes to the cloud.

git pull <origin> <branch>: updates local branch from cloud.

git checkout <branch>: change branch

git checkout <branch> <filename>: copy file from specified branch
git diff: check differences

git branch <name>: create branch
