There currently does not seem to be a way to disable syslog logging within dhcpcd, would you consider adding one?

You can use --nosyslog on the command line or nosyslog in /etc/dhcpcd.conf

@rsmarples Good to see that it is already added; however that option doesnt look to be documented anywhere?

Ah sorry, I added it yesterday just in time for the 10.2.1 release.
If you look at the commit, above it's documented in dhcpcd,conf(5) man page.
