Would it be possible for the Kodi screensaver to (optionally) be disabled while using this addon?

I find this addon really useful when playing music on Spotify, but I'd like an option for it to stay active instead of dropping to the screensaver when in use. When I'm using the addon I'm generally not frequently interacting with Kodi, I just start some music, fire up ConnectControl and then do other things. I like being able to glance at the TV and see what's playing now, but as-is I need to pick up the remote any time I want to know what's playing, which limits the addon's usefulness for me.

Perhaps it could be set up (again, optionally) to disable the screensaver while playing, but still allow it if Spotify is paused or stopped, etc.? Thanks for any consideration.
