@NieXC Thank you for your nice work, I have some questions below.

  1. Does the evaluation code only takes 14 points into consideration except 6 - pelvis, 7 - thorax?
  2. Is it common to use mean scale and center box during training and testing?
  3. Does the generated .mat file format conform to the standard submitted by official website?

  1. Yes, this evaluation code only takes 14 body joints into consideration following the conventions for evaluation on MPII dataset;
  2. Yes, referring to MPII dataset, you can use mean scale and center for both training and testing;
  3. Yes, the generated .mat file is strictly following the standard for submission to evaluation on MPII dataset.

"Center BBox" means the "group boundaries from locations of all people in the group". For this, you can refer to the evaluation protocol on MPII dataset. Link: http://human-pose.mpi-inf.mpg.de/#evaluation
