A Python CLI client might be usable for some testing and fast access.
Would be best to make it as a package.

Just for the record: Other CLI tools are nitrocli (written in Rust) for the Nitrokey Storage and gkey (written in Go) for the Nitrokey Pro.

I am supporting a native cli from Nitrokey - as this Oslo could then easily integrated in other tools like shells etc. 👍

@Peacekeeper2000 What exactly do you want to do (what nitrocli and gkey can't do)?

nitrocli and key don't compile out of the box on MacOS - but your App is provided as DMG which makes installation much easier. Also the functionality of the two tools is different, I would say complimentary . I don't want that you do another gpg, but a tool that allows all the specials for NK (Pro/Storage) that are not part of gpg. At the end it should be a replacement/exchange of the graphical App; that would also support further automation (e.g. encryptions with different user keys )
“Ceterum censeo Carthaginem esse delendam” ....
Saying that , there is not THAT one (big) thing I want to do
