Contributing to the Nodle Chain

👍🎉 First off, thanks for taking the time to contribute! 🎉👍

The following is a set of guidelines for contributing to this repository. These are mostly guidelines, not rules. Use your best judgment, and feel free to propose changes to this document in a pull request.

Code of Conduct

This project and everyone participating in it is governed by our code of conduct. By participating, you are expected to uphold this code. Please report unacceptable behavior to our team members.

Note: Please don't file an issue to ask a question. You'll get faster results by using the resources below.

  • Join our Telegram community
    • Our community members may be in different timezones or simply buzzy, please be patient if we don't reply immediately!
    • Stay aware of each other attention and focus, write one long message instead of a bunch of small ones.
  • We will add more channels over time

How Can I Contribute?

Reporting Bugs

  • Do not open up a GitHub issue if the bug is a security vulnerability, and instead send en email to our team.
  • Ensure the bug was not already reported by searching on GitHub under Issues.
  • If you're unable to find an open issue addressing the problem, open a new one. Be sure to include a title and clear description, as much relevant information as possible, and steps to reproduce the issue..
  • If possible, use the relevant bug report templates to create the issue.

Fixing Issues and Adding Features

  • Open a new GitHub pull request with the patch.
  • Ensure the PR description clearly describes the problem and solution. Include the relevant issue numbers if applicable.
  • New features will be reviewed and merged on a case by case basis.
