What do the values of the variables LANDFRAC (Fraction of sfc area covered by land) and OCNFRAC (Fraction of sfc area covered by ocean) mean?

@Letgo-web Are you talking about landfrac on clm history tapes/surface file? In that case it means a fraction of gridcell that is covered by land. So, if you to average a state variable over the globe (one that is not per unit of area), you have to take that one in considiration as well as the area of the gridcell.
