Title says it all, when I give a role this permission, it doesn't work in game, they can only type /gamemode

This issue seems like a duplicate of #37, which affects the gamemode command.

I don't think this is a duplicate. I've been using Player Roles to allow certain players access to creative for architectural/design/lore purposes for over a year now and it suddenly stopped working when we updated to 1.20. #37 is dated back to 2021 and it was working for us before.

I believe the issue is only present for you now as Minecraft 1.19.3 changed the format of the gamemode command, causing it to be affected by the issue.

You should be able to observe the change by running help gamemode. Previously, the output would show each game mode like the following, indicating the use of literal nodes:

gamemode survival
gamemode creative
gamemode adventure
gamemode spectator

However, now, the output only includes a single line indicating an argument node:

gamemode <gamemode>
