We are planning a majort release of CohortDiagnostics that has several changes that will likely break scripts/workflows that were making use of version 2.2.x.
For those of you not doing so that wish to continue using version 2.2.4 we strongly encourage the use of renv.
Notably, there are significant changes to the interface that calls CohortDiagnostics which no longer generates cohorts, and the DiagnosticsExplorer shiny explorer app. The shiny app now uses a standalone sqlite database which makes old data files incompatible with the new interface.
For the initial release we have also disabled some new functionality in the shiny app; user based annotations. There is currently a branch in development to enable this but we are working through security considerations for older branches. The release of this functionality will come in a release soon (probably 3.0.1) and will not require the generation of new data.
