Use Onenote 16.0.17231.20236 all the time - no encryption.

Flow Launcher 1.19.3 (new install) Installed 2.1.0 and changed nothing. Haven't had any issues using FL in general to this point.

Typed 'on sug' - crashes before I can even hit enter. Every time.

Trying to reopen OneNote I get a message I've never seen before "We're sorry. OneNote is cleaning up from the last time it was open. Please wait." A progress bar completes and a second dialog "It looks like OneNote is having trouble starting right now. If you keep seeing this message, restart your computer and start OneNote again. We're very sorry." OneNote will not relaunch until I restart the computer and then it launches as expected. Flow Launcher has to be restarted also. Tried searching again via the plugin. Same thing happened. Uninstalled/reinstalled the plugin - no change.

Hey is it possible to send the full log file?
Also are you saying that the OneNote issues only happen after you try to use the plugin?

I can launch OneNote fine with or without Flow Launcher. I can launch it from explorer or a commandline. It works always except when I have the FL Onenote plugin installed and start typing "on" and then a space and then one more character and it crashes. After the crash I cannot use OneNote again until I restart the system. Afterward OneNote works as expected until I try to use the extension again. I've tried to find a lingering process/service but I don't see it.

This is a really strange error. The only link I can find to this plugin in the logs is that you are searching with it!

Can you check if the plugin settings in FL are fine (before any crashes)? This should indicate whether the plugin successfully initialised.

How do I check if FL plugin settings are fine? This is after a first install of the plugin. I only have two other plugins installed (AppUpgrader and Window Walker) but I tried removing those first after OneNote plugin failed. I have changed nothing after choosing to install the OneNote plugin from the Plugin Store.

That screenshot is enough! The plugin initialises properly.
It's most likely a COM issue although the log text mentions nothing of it.

Sorry, does this mean I need to do something?

No though if you could said the full log that might help, rather than only the exception.
I will try a make a debug build when I get time.

Hey @ak1dd, I forgot to ask. But do the notebook explorer and recent pages features work fine?
