Reconcile 2 forks?

This repo appears to be forked from: https://github.com/tiancj/hid_download_py
Both forks are well ahead from the revision they diverged and both appear to have substantial patches:

Please consider communicating and either merging, or determining which fork is more 'current'?
Perhaps @OpenBekenIOT and @tiancj can organise to merge?

The thing that I don't understand about this fork is that the original used hidprogram to perform an SPI flash and documents the process, but this fork has introduced a new spiprogram script, which seems to be different... but it's not redundant?

This ecosystem would benefit from being very clear and agreeing on some authority with respect to the most current/best known working versions of tools.

It would probably be ideal if the openshwprojects org took ownership of this repo; that would clear up who has the authoritative fork.
