Octopus Agile / Smart Tariff Schedule Integration (demandshaper)

Demand shaper uses a day ahead power availability forecast to schedules charging sessions at the lowest cost Octopus Agile / carbon time. The forecast could be grid carbon intensity, of cost e.g Octopus API OpenEVSE/ESP8266_WiFi_v2.x#175

Demand shaper module is available for Emoncms, it would be preferable to run it locally on the ESP: https://github.com/emoncms/demandshaper

• DSR event could be entered into the schedule be setting the forecast signal to a very high cost level for the DSR period
• Multiple forecast signals could be combined e.g grid carbon / cost + DSR event
• EV state of charge could be provided by a MQTT topic or from OVMS #Integrating EV SOC (State of Charge) data: OVMS emoncms/demandshaper#7
• Amount of kWh input could be specified with converter to miles
