Things on the list:

  • : Pull out the javascript from the .html web components and place them in web component behaviors to make it easier for theme developers to simply add their own template to javascript that has already been tested. This should remove most of the duplication and help centralize bug fixes for controls.
  • : Add the pop-out behavior for applets. Currently the system replaces the prior applet, as we are optimizing for mobile first. But for desktop users, we would like to be able to open pages in a new window.
  • : Finalize the first rev of discoverable controls API. So that users can add new plugins with new web components that can be integrated in to the display by the user without a theme developer being involved.
  • : Tutorials and documentation for creating themes

If you have suggestions for other improvements, feel free to recommend them in the comments.
