Description

The current (2022.9.18) release of intake-esm is not currently compatible with Opendap (THREDDS). A PR has been opened there (intake/intake-esm#570), but we'll need to pin the new version once this has been fixed.

This is fixed in intake-esm >= 2023.04.20. That version isn't compatible with Python 3.8, but should work otherwise.
