It would be really handy if there was a -no-verify command argument to ignore issues with self-signed TLS certificates because testing this software out in my lab (i.e. before pointing it at production stuff) would be way easier.

Are you talking about self-signed certificates for vSphere or for InfluxDB?

Now that you mention it, both would be ideal.

I use self-signed certs in my lab (because I'm lazy and cheap 😜), and like to test stuff before throwing it into a production environment.
