Currently, manual input of BPM is required, which is determined manually by users on sites such as https://www.beatsperminuteonline.com/. However, we could integrate this feature into EDDA. The high-level solution https://aubio.org/ should facilitate the implementation and offers functions such as automatic BPM and onset detection.
So my thought here was, shouldn't we integrate this?
Although I can say from experience that onset detection does not always deliver the best results, but the beat detection could be helpful.
