When I click the timestamp, it just generate more new note pages.

I saw others' tutorial videos about this plugin, in videos no matter how many times they click timestamp key, it generates timestamps on the same page, but mine keeps generating pages each timestamp. Did I set something wrong?

You can set a shortcut key for "Media Extended: Take timestamp", don't use the icon in the player interface, that will only create a media note page. (Hope this solves your problem.)

I have encountered this issue as well. As @Ovalt1ne mentioned, you can use the "take timestamp" command instead of "take timestamp in media note".

However, this is more of a workaround. I believe the "take timestamp in media note" command doesn't work as expected.
