Which one to use? throat.area or throat.cross_sectional_area

Hi!

I am trying to use phys = op.physics.Standard(network=net, phase=phase, geometry=geo), but get errors on calculations of certain parameters as follows:

I have found in another discussion that some names of the geo.keys() were changed in the newer version. How can I get my installation working, maybe I have to manually change these names? But then I would need the list of respective new keys names vs. old ones. My version of openpnm is 2.8.2

What do you get when you do print(geo)? It seems like some of the needed properties are missing, so that should help determine which one(s).

yes, i got to this stage as well. Here is the output of my geo which I get from a 2d microCT bool_img by:

snow_output = ps.networks.snow2(bool_img, voxel_size=1)
try:
    proj = op.io.PoreSpy.import_data(snow_output.network)
except AttributeError:
    proj = op.io.from_porespy(snow_output.network)
net = proj['net_01']
geo = proj['geo_01']

After some trials I have found that the missing keys for op.physics.Standard(network=net, phase=phase, geometry=geo) seem to be

geo["pore.area"] 
geo["throat.area"] 
geo['throat.conduit_lengths.pore1'] 
geo['throat.conduit_lengths.pore2'] 
geo['throat.conduit_lengths.throat']

I understand I can nominate the first two ones as:

geo["pore.area"] = np.pi * np.square(geo['pore.diameter']) / 4
geo["throat.area"] = geo['throat.cross_sectional_area']

But not sure about the other three ones. What are they?

Hey,

I run the similar problem, when I was trying to use

phys = op.physics.Standard(network=net, phase=phase, geometry=geo)

In the following discussion I found the hint to uninstall openpnm and reinstall the development version.

But after doing it I get the error of missing the geometry attribute, if I try to use the above instruction.

Is there any solution to get my installation working?
