Pagination using the Next/Prev/First/Last buttons does not display the results correctly when Auto Refresh is on

Describe the bug

Description

When there are many records (say >100) that spans across multiple pages, and Auto Refresh is on,clicking the "Next" button does not display the next set of records. The results pane is either empty or keeps scrolling with many messages. This behavior is also seen sometimes with "Prev", "First", "Last" buttons. The records are displayed as expected when manually entering the page number.

Expected behavior

Clicking the "Next" button should display the next set of records in the results pane. Similarly, the other buttons should also give the expected results

Actual behavior

Steps to reproduce

1. Turn on "Auto Refresh"
2. Click on the "Next" button on the messages window
3. Notice that the results pane does not display the next set of records.
