The Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) is an all-India test is being organized for admission to various Integrated/Under-Graduate, Post Graduate and Research Programmes in several Central Universities and State Universities of India. From its inception in 2010, the CUCET is conducted/coordinated by the Central University of Rajasthan.
CUCET was first conducted to admission for seven central universities for 1,500 seats in 41 undergraduate, postgraduate and integrated courses from 2010. The application form was filled up through CUCET-2010 which held on 19 and 20 June 2010 in about 30 examination centres spread across the country.[1]

Candidates who will successfully register on the official website of DU and completed the entire application process are only eligible to appear in the examination for DUET 2021.
DUET 2021 will be conducted in Computer Based mode which comprised of MCQs. The total duration of the exam will be of 2 hours. A total of 100 questions will be asked and for each correct answer, 4 marks will be allotted. There will be a negative marking of -1 for each incorrect

The EWS sub-category is effective from 2019. On 12th January 2019 EWS bill was passed by the president of India. Gujarat is the first state to pass the bill, on 14th January 2019. The Indian government has given 10% of reservation for General category candidates under the EWS sub-category. This 10% do not cover OBC, SC and ST categories.
This 10% is not considered as a caste certificate but as an income certificate. Candidates who want to attempt for government jobs or want to get admission in schools or colleges and who fall under the EWS category can avail of the reservation issued by the government. To avail of these benefits, candidates have to provide a valid EWS certificate issued by government officials or competent authority.
