Description

PR #3033 added the development version of ED2IN which contained new soil variables. Currently they are hard-coded:

   NL%SLSOC   = 0.06
   NL%SLPH    = 6
   NL%SLCEC   = 0.5
   NL%SLDBD   = 1330

Proposed Solution

Describe the solution you'd like
The soil.nc files may have these variables and it may be possibly to specify them via code. See #3033 (comment)
