An interesting feature to have would be the ability to simulate a CD burner that could create a ISO image.

What would apply here is a scenario with vintage music equipment, such as digital recorders. In particular, units such as Yamaha AW4416 and AW2816 do not have other connectivity than SCSI which poses a problem if one wants to export the recordings to a modern-day computer. While it is possible to perform a backup of the existing songs to an external SCSI device (such as HDD), the output format is proprietary and requires additional tools to extract the musical content. On the other hand, there is a possibility to burn an audio CD...
