MSE calculation

Hello. Why are you using samples_y, which is initialized with pure noise then denoised, to compute MSE, instead of using ground truth values? Is this a mistake in the code or is it supposed to be computed that way? I am not very familiar with diffusion models. I am looking forward to your answer.
(i know this was asked in the past, but i still dont understand the answer).
