I don't yet know how to throw it in yet, but it seems that Podcast addict has Live Podcast (Podcasting 2.0)

So an update to apps features is needed to show it.

Is it still in beta or has it been merged into the stable release yet?

As far as i understand, their changelog is not showing beta, but the version "in the wild".
Google play store also shows "[New] Support for Live Podcast feature (Podcasting 2.0)".

so from these... yes merged already.

This issue should be fixed with #235.
