Banned Account - Second Wave (August 17, 2016)

I just want to say that my account was banned.

I only botted two hours a day and stopped botting before the first wave of perma-bans. My account escaped the first wave.

I was very careful, and I only botted in my area. I didn't take any gyms, so my account didn't have a team as well.

This is the only bot I used. It was fun and frankly I stopped playing the game during the last week of July.

That ban was a reminder to me that Pokemon Go was still a thing :)

What is the level of the banned account?

Question: Did u use phone and bot at the same time? Even 5 seconds?

all my 3 accounts are banned. I guess they have a way to detect if you used this bot. Maybe not immediately, but even in 2 weeks, they will find out. Even moderate use, like only once for 2 hours. Even close to your home.
I think it's not safe to use this one.
They have enough computing power to run through your game history.
I did a search, they have a forked necrobot, claimed still working.

FYI, I reached lvl 22 "manually", then two weeks ago - just before the API change - I tried the bot for 2 days, like 2-3hrs/day, never teleported. I stayed in the area I usually played myself. Config was as human as possible and I leveled up to 23. So only 1 levelling through the bot...

Haven't played the game in 10 days (holidays abroad), I got permabanned on Thursday... So I doubt anyone will survive ;)

@dumbuser1 Nope, I was super safe, walking human speed as well. I just want to inform the devs so that they can refine it if they want to.

If the devs have specific questions on what I did, feel free to ask me here. Like what I said, I never botted overnight, I never teleported, no soft-bans, I waited for hours after botting to check my account and do transfers and evolutions. I never used the bot to auto-evolve or transfer pokemons.

P.S. Everytime I accessed the account on my phone, my location services was turned off, I never logged in on my phone while I was botting. I haven't played the game in a while, so I don't know if you can still do this. Like what I said, I escaped the first wave of perma-bans, but was surprised that they got me on the second one.

One more thing, I was playing legit for a few days and got to level 13 before I botted. So it's not like I reached level 20+ in a few hours. It's a Google account and not PTC. I was banned as a level 27 and I haven't logged in the account for a few weeks. Obviously I never botted after the API change.

@leadboots5 so, what is the issues section for? people need to know that this bot is the direct reason to get their accounts banned.

@avexus It's for issues with the bot functioning. Everyone should be blatantly aware that botting can and likely will get your account banned. We even had a META thread when the first banwave was done.
