loopback test does not find USB adapter with Android loopback dongle #1001

Describe the bug
The paloopback test scans for devices configured for loopback but does not check the headphone adapter.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior. Include code if applicable.

  1. Enter: make loopback
  2. Connect a Google USB adapter and an Android loopback plug.
  3. Enter: bin/paloopback

Expected behavior
Run tests using the adapter.

Actual behavior
It never checked the combination of Headset Adapter to Headset Adapter.

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: [e.g. Mac OS] Mac OS on a Mini
  • OS Version [e.g. 22] Sequoia 15.3
  • PortAudio version: stable, nightly snapshot (which?), current (please give date and/or Git hash): 20250201
  • If Windows or Linux, which Host API (e.g. WASAPI): Core Audio

This hardware is routinely used for testing loopback on Android.
