The Pipeline team is currently considering improving PostHog by adding CDP functionality.

Some work has already begun on this project, as covered in the following PRs and issues:

App metrics in particular were added as part of release 1.41.0.

  • Guaranteed job execution
  • Plugin/App metrics ✅
  • Ingestion scaling for self-hosted
  • Automated testing framework
  • Dead letter queue
