When a user upvotes or downvotes an item for the first time, the user needs to understand what's happening here -- a) they're enabling deeper analytics eg 100 upvoters are Senator Smith's constituents, and b) they're helping something boost, which means that everyone in that group will see it if it gets enough attention. I want them to feel value (and frankly, satisfaction) when they take these actions...

Creating a small animation - a delighter for the user - might be a way of conveying that upvoting/downvoting an item is helping it reach its tipping point / boosting level. They need to feel like they're action is helping something get boosted so that others can see and engage with it.

When user goes to create first post, an infographic displays so that users clearly understand that, if their post gets enough upvotes in any group, it is boosted to everyone in that group
We will add another screen that shows how our DVA works once that is implemented
