Problem

Some links on the ProgCode Toolkit are accessible by the public, leaving the network vulnerable to additions from individuals who have not been through the ProgCode onboarding process. If an unknowing member of the public lacking an accurate understanding of our mission adds a project which is outside ProgCode's scope and mission (i.e., electoral campaigns or projects violating any state or federal laws), the network could be vulnerable to investigation, litigation or loss of non-profit designation.

Solution

Create a Tab on the Toolkit which is Read-Only to the public, and Editable by ProgCode members only. Make items like "Add Your Project Here" password protected. Alternatively, if password protection is too difficult, make those links accessible only from inside the Slack community.
