I've had custom PLA bearings working well for some months. I usually print PETG or PLA. After printing some ABS for the first time, bed temp 110, no enclosure, ~2h30 print time - my Y axis has nearly seized. Y axis homing thinks the end stop is wherever the bed currently is. My PLA bearings are set in 15mm stainless tube, 1.5mm wall thickness. I suspect the seizing is a side effect of the heat transfer from the bed to the housings. Maybe add a note to the wiki about this issue.
