  • Looking into controlling robot movement with ROS based on data received from sensors on bot
  • Looking into interfacing object detection with robot, then making movement decision based off objects
  • Research algos they may be of use to the bot
  • Read Gazebo docs

  1. Controlling robot movement with ROS => Publish to cmd_vel
  2. Use image data from Sam & data from scan topic => write script that publishes to cmd_vel based off data
  3. Watched first 6 lectures from MIT OCW AI course, most path finding algorithms are nice. May not be applicable to this project, but can create an algo that will be when needed.
  4. Got Gazebo working, still need to practice with it. Rviz is also fine
