Describe the bug
When I have a data frame containing å/ä/ö in character vectors, the output is garbled like : SÃ¥ ska det lÃ¥ta.

To Reproduce

Run this :
data.frame(nordic = c('Så ska det låta.', 'Äppelsås', 'Östen med Rösten')) %>% View()

Can you fix this issue by yourself? (We appreciate the help)
I have tried to set UTF-8 on the variable, but it seems not to work.

Expected behavior
When I have åäö in a dataframe, the View() should display them as good as the terminal.

Environment (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Windows
  • VSCode Version: 1.96.4
  • R Version: R version 4.4.1 (2024-06-14 ucrt)
  • vscode-R version: 2.8.4

Additional context
I'll keep trying to make the viewer show correct. But it's guaranteed something with the codepage...
