Guitar Hero: Warriors Of Rock overdriven mic #11266
Comments
Try disabling audio buffering. |
I disabled it and still got white noise. |
Came here to say that this is still an issue. Works fine on Singstar(when the emulation feels like working there) and Rock Band(exception for the Harmony issue detailed in another thread) but not for this game. |
Still an issue |
please try again |
Now it crashes when I choose any mic. F {PPU[0x100000e] Thread (VoiceThreadUpdate) [HLE:0x00eb3f1c, LR:0x004b17b4]} cellMic: Requested an invalid number of channels: 0 |
Can you please test with #13614 ? |
|
please always upload the log file instead of pasting some random lines from the GUI. |
Sorry. |
That's odd. maybe try a different mic, or use XAudio for the audio handler. Maybe Cubeb leads to a crash when used at the same time as openal. |
Tried XAudio, but looks like it's the same. Tested with different Logitech mics - with Konami label and another very old usb mic. |
try again with #13614 |
Now it's booting, but ingame sound still sound like a noise. |
I tried to play WoR today and this problem still persists, I tried on World Tour, Band Hero and 5 too, the same exact problem, overdriven super saturated mic. |
This bug still exists as of January 2025. |
When playing Guitar Hero: Warriors Of Rock and use microphone I just got white noise, sometimes can interrupt it with my voice (Kind of, it sounds like overdrived sound).
Mic: Konami official usb mic, essencially it's just Logitech mic.
