Describe the bug
External Address in File-> Connection Information relies on server registry which means when it is down/cant be contacted it fails to provide an address. Which is when it is most needed in a log of cases.

Expected behavior
It should not rely on the server registry to retrieve the address.

Tested. No longer relies on server registry.
