Right now the stream size for likwid-bench workgroups can be defined using base 10 units (kB, MB, GB).
Cache sizes are often powers of 2 and specifying these becomes cumbersome.
When using multiple threads, the array size is sanitized and it's more complicated to define a stream size that will result in a specific per thread vector size.
I propose to extend the usable units with base 2 units: kiB, MiB, GiB.
Is this something that would be accepted in upstream?

I just want to let you know that likwid-bench is currently rewritten from scratch in a private repository. If you are interested in joining the development, let me know and I invite you.
