Currently, running ra.sh with the -c option uses sha1 checksums. It should be updated to detect which checksums the tools support, then allow the users to use those checksums.

I’ve attached a patch that adds an argument to -c that will set the checksums variable appropriately.
File Added: ra.shchecksums.patch
