Large refactor release. The vast majority of these changes are in thanks to volunteers @Pjb518 and @CarlosFdez . Thank you both for the changes implemented, as well as many others provided through pull requests by developers and translators.

This update introduces a more thorough solution to consumable logic with feedback from @Chartoxic#9871 , as well as some more code cleanup, courtesy of efforts by @phil#7071 and @supe#7438 . Big thanks to all three of you!

Changelog:

  • Reworked consumable use. The Better Rolls tab on an item sheet now has separate options for consuming an item's "Quantity", "Limited Uses", "Resource Consumption", and "Action Recharge" on a Quick Roll preset.
  • If "Quantity" and "Uses" are both enabled, an item will consume uses first, and then consume 1 quantity and continue consuming uses. Useful for consumables with multiple charges each!
  • Ammunition is now properly consumed when rolling.
  • Consumed ammunition now adds its attack bonus and damage rolls when attack/damage rolls are used by the item. Thanks to adriangaro on Github for the initial implementation!
  • HTML and JS cleanup contributed by Phil and Supe
  • Miscellaneous fixes

Small fixes to consumable logic and damage scaling, as well as some neat code improvements provided by @Pjb518.
Changelog:

  • Fixed spell scaling (again (again (AGAIN))).
  • Consumable logic fixes. "Resource Consumption" item should not be consumed when the rolled item returns an error from having no uses left.
  • "Consume Charge" option on Quick Rolls should now work again with Resource Consumption. If unchecked, the roll will not consume charges nor whatever is selected in the "Resource Consumption" dropdowns.
  • quickRollByName macros should no longer fail if the canvas doesn't have a token with the given name.
  • Some well-needed code cleanup by @Pjb518 . Many thanks for the contribution!

This update introduces some more fixes to further support FVTT 0.7.x. Do not update if using FVTT 0.6.x or older.

  • Compatibility patch for FVTT 0.7.x.
  • Fixed critical damage rolls
  • Fixed roll labels further
  • Fixed spell slot and cantrip damage scaling
  • Fixed high and low dice rolls being colored green and red, respectively.
  • Added compatibility support for the Item Macro module by our very own @kekilla. If an Item Macro exists for a given item, clicking the item image will default to executing the macro instead of a Quick Roll.
  • Spells that use versatile damage should now take that into account and scale properly.

This is an emergency patch that contains some other smaller fixes and features for FVTT 0.7.x. It is only compatible with FVTT 0.7.x, but does not address all the fixes needed for a proper 0.7 port. Do not update if you are not using Foundry 0.7.0 or higher. Better Rolls v1.1.11 and older versions are available on the Github Releases page.
Changelog:

  • Compatibility patch for FVTT 0.7.x. Do not update if using FVTT 0.6.x or older.
  • Fixed critical actor.db bug ("comma bug") for those using tidy5e. (Magic Items module users may still encounter this issue, though!)
  • Updated localization files for Brazilian Portuguese and Korean. Many thanks to the awesome multilingual volunteers!
  • Fixed issue where an item sheet tab would switch every time something updated in the Better Rolls tab. Big thanks to @supe#7438 for providing the fix!
  • Chat cards will now prioritize using the token's alias, if one is present, instead of the actor's name. Thanks to @cole#9640 for this suggestion and fix!
  • Added setting to be prompted for advantage or disadvantage. Even when enabled, Ctrl + Shift still work. Thanks to @krysztalzg on Github for the suggestion and fix!
  • Fixed roll labels no longer working in 0.7.x

Known Issues:

  • Critical damage still nonfunctional
  • Spell damage scaling occasionally does not work
