The current maintainer of the mod is busy, and is unable to update the mod. But that isn't the bigger issue atm.

Modget uses manifests (see also modget-manifests) to get update info. Unfortunately, this process is labour intensive. As such, we are trying to move to a new update info provider (see also the-mod-index), which is automated. It's currently in heavy development, and should be more reliable than the current manifest system

Tldr: modget is waiting on the-mod-index, which is currently being heavily developed on by me. I'm working on it as much as possible, sorry for the inconvenience :(
