Apologies if this has been requested before, but is it possible with the DDRM to implement a "Get from synth..." function? With my workflow I often have the situation where I've created a patch on the DDRM using the hardware sliders/switches without JF open. I then want to take what I have and incorporate it into a DAW project (add a track, add JF as a plugin, continue composing). Unfortunately at this point there is no way to sync the current panel settings with JF as far as I know. Is that just a feature gap, or something that is not possible to implement using the current DDRM firmware? I'd be willing to give it a shot myself, unless there is a known blocker.

Hi @eltobosolo,

DDRM's firmware is unfortunately much less capable than, eg, Kijimi's, in that regard. It should be theoretically possible that if you work on a patch on the physical device you can share it with JF but you need to save it first. However, JF does not have this functionality implemented (unlike Babu Frik for Kijimi). Also JF does not have control over all the "hidden" settings in the menus because the firmware does not allow it.

I was expecting Black Corporation to improve at some point DDRM's firmware capabilities so I could implement an integration similar to that of Kijimi, but that has not happened and they're quite busy. Maybe at some point I can implement "load patch X from bank Y from device", I'll consider that.

I noticed there is a new firmware update. Have you had a chance to check it out?
