UI freezing when recording action is recognized #2

Hi
I am using Kinect 2.
I was trying to run this using VS 2017. I compiled the code, installed Turnado 1.7 and copied over dll where executable is. Also downloaded the latest .dlls from http://www.un4seen.com and copied over in Lib and executable path.
I also refreshed C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Kinect\v2.0_1409\Assemblies\Microsoft.Kinect.dll

The UI freeses. Sometimes I can see a hand and I transition to recording, but no sound can be heard. I was trying to set some in/out options in asio settings.

I would appreciate if you can help me run this as explained in the video
