It would be great if env variables were expanded so that you could do something like this:

PGHOST=localhost
PGUSER=postgres
PGDATABASE=my_db
PGPASSWORD=postgres
PGPORT=5432
DATABASE_URL="postgresql://${PGUSER}:${PGPASSWORD}@${PGHOST}:${PGPORT}/${PGDATABASE}?schema=public"
