Add the ability to hide system messages of a channel/room through the REST API

Hello,
Is it possible to add the ability to hide system messages of a channel/room through the REST API ?
We'd like to be able to create a room and automatically disable system messages into this room.

It seems to be the "sysMes" option to change.
