<h3 class="title">Why this domain name?</h3>
<hr>
<p class="text">The 'SU' in our name refers to the Student Union of HKUST specifically. Like many other "Student Unions" in HK, it has been actively involved in political activities with aggressive political stance. When giving its radical views, they disregard the feelings of those who hold different beliefs, without the slightest attempt to "think from the other perspective". Yet, they still try to present themselves as the spokespersons of every HKUST student on social media platforms. BUT NOT Me! Not US! We are those people who were not, are not and will not be represented by the SU.</p>

<h3 class="title">Why we start this website?</h3>
<hr>
<p class="text">On September the 28th, our initiative to exercise our rights of peaceful gathering <b>(without face masks)</b> was twisted and misinterpreted by the Student Union Facebook account. They also perform censorship in the comment section of Facebook, and on the Big Character Poster Wall (ironically, a censored democratic wall is, by definition, undemocratic). We eventually realize that true democracy requires at least two voices, and we need our own platform to truly speak. And here it is!</p>

<h3 class="title">What’s the Reaction of the SU?</h3>

<ul style="margin-top: -1%">
<li><p class="text">Our poster promoting this website was first forcefully removed on September the 30th, before 1 o’clock, even if we have <b>registered with the Dean of Students’ office</b>.</p></li>
<li><p class="text">On October the 2nd, when we put up our poster back to the wall, someone write the following comments on it: “You insult the Student Union” “But you still register (this poster) with the Student Union”. Apparently, these people are skipping their English language course: there is a stamp write next to their comments, reading “Dean of Students’ Office”. And of course, we won’t register with the Student Union. After all, we are not allowed to “insult the Student Union”, are we?</p>

<h3 class="title">HKUST SU做了哪些惡？</h3>

<li>2019年10月2日-集結巨嬰空降LG1 <i class="glyphicon glyphicon-baby-formula"></i></li>

事件起因：由於與美心集團創辦人長女伍淑清的意見不合，部分香港人發起了罷食美心旗下餐廳活動。學生會衆多立場鮮明、恨中入骨的<b><a href="http://su.ust.hk/about#exco">臨時執行委員</a></b>們自然積極響應。

事件經過：10.2日中午，多位HKUSTSU邀請的巨嬰們準時空降LG1餐廳，玩起了扮煮飯仔游戲（又名過家家）。活動過程中，幾位巨嬰在點餐機前久久停留，探索著二十一世紀偉大的計算機。下圖可見，兩位巨嬰因爲不會算數，已經把點餐金額纍計到了四位數（為保護心智不成熟的嬰兒，我們將佢哋打上馬賽克）。巨嬰們的這一行爲讓本應該早早吃上午餐的同學在隊伍中漫長等待。<b>SU的巨嬰們自然有大哭要奶喝、不吃飯的自由，可他們選擇的是剝奪別人選擇餐廳和在餐廳安靜用餐的自由</b>。

<li>2019年9月28日-官方社交媒體賬號曲解汙蔑快閃活動</li>

事件起因：當日下午，港科大學生自發了atrium慶祖國生日唱歌活動，現場齊唱了《國歌》、《歌唱祖國》、《東方之珠》等歌曲。<a href="https://www.bilibili.com/video/av69266217" target="view_window">活動全程視頻</a><br><br>
事件經過：香港科技大學學生會(HKUSTSU)隨後在其Facebook和Instagram官方賬號發佈不實内容（内容見圖），并且在學生投訴后不理會刪除貼文的訴求。<br><br> <div style="text-align: center"><img src="./pics/facebook.jpg" width="60%"></div> <br>
事件後續：許多科大學生在官方賬號下留言闢謠，但是學生會非但不予理會，而且還刪除了諸多理性留言。一個帶頭喊著“人權”和“言論自由”的組織，卻做著顛倒黑白、禁錮他人自由言論的事。<br>

<li>2018年及之後報表謎團</li>

背景介紹：根據<a href="https://hkustsucouncil.wordpress.com/" target="view_window">學生會評議會網站</a>介紹，“學生會評議會是香港科技大學學生會四大中央架構之一，擔當會內立法機關的角色...根據學生會憲章及香港專上學生聯會代表團條例，幹事會、編輯委員會、各普選評議員及香港專上學生聯會代表團需要<b>每半年</b>向評議會遞交工作報告，匯報其執行職務內容”。<br><br>
故事呈現：如下圖，<a href="https://hkustsucouncil.wordpress.com/documents/reports/">此欄目</a>顯示，學生會沒有于2017-2018年公佈其財政報表以及所有年終報表；更爲驚人的是，2018-2019年的所有報告均為空白，不知道是因爲學生會的領導落入時空裂縫、和外界有巨大時差，還是因爲網站資料遭到匿名黑客竊取、不翼而飛。<br><br> <div style="text-align: center"><img src="./pics/council_finance_report.png" width="85%"></div> <br>
