The user must cycle play pause to get audio to play. Pretty sure it has to do with stricter restrictions on audio/video playing on mobile browsers.

going to ask react-players dev to see if they have any insight on how to fix this ios-only issue as i have tested it on android and it plays on first click

cookpete/react-player#340 issue raised on its git repo, might be the solve...

tabling issue for now till i have more free time to get into the nitty gritty of the ios browser restrictions documentation
