blink.cmp in unlisted buffers

Hi
I'm using blink in codecompanion in a floating chat window. I've noticed that whenever autocomplete is triggered the chat buffer switches from unlisted to listed - overriding the window layout setting in codecompanion. Is there a way to stop it doing this?

steps to reproduce

nvim --clean -u minimal.lua

Run
:CodeCompanionChat
then any completion e.g.
#bu<Tab>
and code companion buffer is added to bufferline and appears in :bnext
